The National Coal Mining Museum of England near Wakefield is using a selection of specially commissioned images as part of a contemporary mining exhibition. Entitled 'Living in a Mining Community' it features painting and photographs portraying mining life past and present. My contribution is a series of twelve images of miners from Maltby Colliery at work and at home. The exhibition runs from May 18th until September 27th 2009.
