Minder

The picture is based on a news story. It’s about that Austrian woman who they found it that bunker. I think it was one of her children, a nineteen year old that I heard on the radio didn’t make it, she suffered liver and kidney failure.

It's called ‘The Idol of Eternal Death’ and it represents how or what I was feeling at the time. I sketched it out, it’s nether a man or a woman, it’s a person holding a shield and an axe. It’s really a knight in shining armour - an idol. It’s the forever knowledge, the forever awareness of death that’s going to happen to all of us.

I’m going back to college in September to do a BTEC national diploma in animation and concept art and web pages design.

When I finish at college, I want to work as a concept artist for computer games, that’s what I’m going to do; it’s what I’ve always wanted to do.
