"Joseph the Hoop of Life is Whole Again"

This painting is one panel of a nine foot diameter circular painting made at a time when my father was terminally ill; influenced by the vision of Black Elk (Lakota Sioux) in which he stated that the Hoop of his People was damaged and that the Hoop of his People was simultaneously the Hoop of the World but that in 100 years it would be whole again.

It is a work for a healing and for peace.
